How strenuous is your Band of Brothers Tour?

There are no difficult climbs nor excessively long walks on our Band of Brothers Tour. In certain areas of older cities we cannot always park the coach immediately next to the historic attraction, so some walking is required. However, since we have always had veterans traveling with us, there is nothing that is overly taxing.

Why shouldn’t I do this on my own?

We take you precisely where you need to be to study the history that occurred based on Stephen Ambrose’s walking the battlefields with the Easy Company veterans who fought there. You don’t have to rent a car or make your own hotel reservations. It can be more difficult to find the actual battlefields, landmarks and other important sites than you would expect. We also have a full-time historian on our tours, who adds immensely to your experience.

Can I book my own airfare?

Yes, but please speak to the office directly before you book as you will be required to arrive in time for the start of the tour.

My traveling companion is not as interested in the Band of Brothers history as I am. Would they still enjoy your tours?

Yes. We often have travelers who do not share the passion for history of their traveling companion, but we always find that after a day or two into the tour that they are enjoying it much more than they expected.

Do you recommend travel insurance?

Yes, travel insurance is strongly recommended. You can purchase travel insurance with Travelex Insurance. Call 800.228.9792 and note Tour Plan #18-6016.

Can you accommodate special dietary needs?

Yes. We just ask that you please let us know what your dietary restrictions are ahead of time.

Do you have a payment plan?

Yes: a deposit of $500; 90 days prior to the tour 50% is due; and 45 days prior to the tour the balance is due.

Is the deposit refundable?
